The main elements of the WACO standard scaffolding system used in most construction sites are frames and cross braces. One of its main applications is for facade access. Due to its quick and easy installation, contractors prefer this system because it does not require a trained staff. The weight of a 1,52 x 2,00m (5’ x 6’ 7”) frame is 22 kg (48lb). In addition to the main components, there are accessories such as aluminum platforms that provide a safe working area, wheels that allow movement of the shoring towers, safety handrails, and internal stairs that permit easy worker movement. The cantilever system allows workers to safely pass around protruding portions of the construction.
